Kenneth Richard Abernathy, 73, of Covington, died 7 a.m. Friday. Mr. Abernathy formerly worked at Olin’s in Covington for 18 years. He later managed the Covington Shell Station. He was a graduate of Perrysville High School and a member of the Perrysville Unity Lodge #344. He was born on Feb. 8, 1934 in Wabash Township to Kenneth Samuel Abernathy and Lucille B. Davis Abernathy. He resided in Wabash Township his who le life. He married to Patricia O. Drollinger on May 5, 1955. She survives. He is survived by children; Scotty (Susan) Abernathy of Reno, Nev.; Stanley (Tonya) Abernathy of Covington; Ricky (Kristy) Abernathy of Crawfordsville; Jeffry (Chris) Abernathy of Covington; Kenny (Mariann) Abernathy of Tuscola, Ill. and his daughter, Michelle Lee "Sissy" (Richard) Tolbert of Perrysville; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. - thanks so much to my extra momma, Betty D :) She's awesome helping in genealogy
